Salmon: Healthy Pantry Item
Salmon fillets are a beautiful protein source, full of much needed omega 3 fatty acids which we all need to be eating more of. A serve is just 120g so you don't need much to feed the family a nutritious meal. The kids might prefer theirs crumbed, and that’s OK too. Enjoying seafood twice a week is a great way to boost our intake of good fats and lean protein while cutting down on fattier red meats that aren’t as good for us.
Even if you’re pregnant, you don’t need to be concerned about mercury in salmon if you’re enjoying it once or twice a week.
