Parlsey is an overlooked real-life super food. Did you know it’s a great source of flavonoids, vitamin C, folate, and even calcium and iron? The trouble is, you need to eat more than a sprig to get the benefits. So treat it like a leafy green instead of a garnish – it will count towards your daily 2&5 too! Get some growing in the garden and use it generously in scrambled eggs, salads, tabbouleh and pesto.

TOP TIP: Store cut herbs in a jar of water in the fridge. They’ll last a lot longer and you won’t forget they’re there!
