The foundation of a great home fitness setup is multipurpose equipment. 

  • Yoga mat: This gives you a comfortable, non-slip surface to work out on no matter the exercise.
  • Resistance bands: These are a simple and low-cost way to add variety to your work outs. They are great for full-body strength and flexibility training without the need for bulkier, heavy weights and equipment.
  • Foam Roller: You can use one before and after working out. Light roll out your muscles to warm them up, and then after a workout to apply pressure to any tight spots for recovery and tension release.
  • Small wrist/ankle weights: These are key for helping to build strength and tone your muscles. Tip: select a weight that feels right for you or speak to a qualified instructor for professional guidance.
  • Storage basket: Keeps all your workout equipment neat and tidy and within reach so that clean-up can be quick and easy.
